A 47-year-old patient with no history in her medical history presented to the department with unimaxillary edentulousness rehabilitated by an ill-fitting prosthesis. Intraoral, we note the presence of a sessile leaflet lesion characteristic of the “double lip” appearance in the maxillary mucosa. The treatment consisted of surgical excision of the lesion + muccoperiosteal sutures + tissue conditioning by the KER FITT + periodic checks + creation of a new prosthesis.
