Baby (34 weeks, birth weight 1.8 kg, male child) 2 days old born with neck swelling. Antenatal scan suggestive of Thyromegaly. Thyroid profile done on Day 3 showed- TSH-480 microIU/ml, Free T3-1.29 ng/dl, Free T4- less than 0.4 microgram/dl (Figure 1 & 2).
It suggest that palpable neck mass was thyroid. Scan also confirmed thyroid swelling.
